Some of the small shapes we placed on id wire rings along with some beads to make beverage markers. Bake plastic at 350 degrees for 2- 3 minutes. Our 2″ circle became about 3/4″ when shrunk. From a cool notebook paper keepsake design to easy garden markers, we love seeing our plastic shrink in the oven to make cool magnets, charms and keychains. This Shrinky Dink jewelry project is actually a little bit of a CraftFail because it didn’t go as planned, but it might be okay (the ink blurred a bit). These pieces I intended to use as pendants or keychains are the right size to be used as charms on a bracelet. The plastic had all shrunk super tiny and had mostly flattened out after 2 minutes. I popped them in the preheated oven and set a timer for 2 minutes (the other tutorials I read all recommended 3-5 minutes, so I thought I’d start checking it after 2).
